Last night was the awards ceremony. Tonight the Banquet and Friday the visit to Chowan. What a Booked calendar week!
Evelyn Hope Walker "Senioritis" is her nickname these days, in the Walker Family. The sweet girl of the Senior class who lives at our house had an award's ceremony last night. We went to watch many classmates win awards and get accolades and to set the course for our plan for the coming year.
As of right now, Ev is planning to take advantage of a scholarship to Chowan College in NC. We'll be visiting on Friday. Today is the Banquet for the Seniors. We are delighted to have enjoyed our time with this fleeting youth jumping into adulthood with both feet.
We hardly see her. We certainly love the journey that we've been privileged to participate in. We are looking forward to many more years of scholastic endeavors crowned with successful aptitudes accomplished. Hoorrrrah!

Heaven or BUST?
It is a shame that my longing for NY seems greater than my longing for Heaven. I should pray more. I do love the Lord. I pray that my heavenly home will be in the NY section of Heaven:) if there is one. ;) God is very able to rip the idolatry of my earthly home from my bosom. Halleluia. By the time I get to heaven, perhaps I won't even think about NY. You think?
