Mother's Day started with Belgian Waffles!
My Cooper Union graduate husband designed my breakfast, as usual. This time it was a heart motif, perfectly shaped hearts and 2 Hebrew National Hotdogs. I am not much of a breakfast eater, but I gobbled down some of the deliciously buttered fare.
My baby came up with a card with so many adjectives about his momma, I had to ask who he was talking about. "My mom loves to...ZUMBA!" What an epitaph, from my baby. He is often evicted from the room so I can do my aerobic dance. He is a card. My Middleschool, clarinet playing young man had comments for all of the festivities of the day. The ladies cooked dinner and my Pastor preached, just into my soul. I was blessed, in the city, in the field, when we came and when we went.
I am reaping a harvest of blessings.
