Memorial Day, always proves a challenge. We have 2 May birthdays. This year there was a May wedding that Emily was a part of. What a beautiful month is May. To get the crew to celebrate the holiday in the same place and in the same way is the challenge.
Honey thought 3 days at the park would be a treat for us all. It did end up being a treat, but not before much of the conflicts that are our lot in life these days.
We made it out to the park on Sat. Bailey Road Park, on Sunday, Freedom Park and Monday, Jetton Park.
In our minds we thought that we would have a central picnic spot and go to and fro, from activity to activity, but that wasn't the way it worked out. Much family-babble went on as we decided, which park on which day and what to bring and not to bring. But, we made it out there and we are grateful that we were corralled, by a loving earthly father to have fun together, in spite of ourselves.
