Presenting facts or Facts to a CANDID World?

Are we celebrating holding these truths to be self evident or the beauty of growing in holding onto these truths? Do we throw the baby out with the bathwater because of a phrase or a prevalent thought of that day which we no longer can attest to or abide the phraseology?
OUr Language and our union is developing and the declaration is a document that attests to that fact, as well as many other documents of our cherished unification and union.
All men being created equal and then in the same breath relegating some{as a whole} to being heartless savages, I must say, that I can relate to the thoughtless attestations of war and peace.
I voted for Reagan, although I saw his California administration hose and take down many black people in his State sanctioning the relegation of them to a “less than status” of servitude and posture. I voted for him, hoping that his perspective had grown from a Governor to a President and that was a very short space of time.
Blacks have gained some rights and Native American have gained some rights and respect over the 2 centuries of warfare on these subjects.
Give me liberty or give me death, from Patick Henry is respected and from Sacajawea is despised. How dare she see our clear progressivism as warfare against her people? I jest, only in part, because I celebrate that we are still unified, even as we disagree on the parts of our union that are acceptable. I celebrate the greatest combinations of differences that there has ever been. We are still growing and when we look back at this, in ages to come I hope we will become even more enlightened on our inhumanity and repent all the more of our blindnesses as we grow in our unity and our real progress and not the injected progress from well-meaning activists for their own personal tramplings of other people’s rights and humanity.
