A precocious little 5 year old came downstairs in pj's, with an imploring look on his face to implore the lioness of the family something. What do you need? I asked. Emily, he answered. Emily's tone changed from her usual growl and catapult out of the door, to stoop to the imploring glances of her little brother. Can you? Do you remember, that we talked about it yesterday? Oh, Ezra! hurry up! her whole attitude changed, as she condescended to his request; to do her artistic thing to his head, for crazy hair day. The 6 of them, minus one or two sleepyheads, filed into the bathroom to recreate the kindergartner and the nine year old for the day. DYE? Fabric dye? glue, gel, scalpel? I am kidding, but when they got out of the bathroom we had crazy hair alright.

Its alright mom, we'll cut it after, there is no problem with this stuff. okay! It is outside of my artistic realm to squash the family's artistic pursuits. He was happy as a lark and so was Ethan, even without the color. Seems he is not as brave as the kindergartner. You're only in kindergarten once with the ultimate artist as an older sister and the artistic Walker family Crazy hair team!
